Welcome to Family Web 2.0!
Community Options’ Family Web is a network where parents can come together to support one another by sharing information, experiences, and knowledge. Although these parents are located all across the country, the interweaving of their ideas and experience makes our family web strong.
Family Web offers parents tangible resources on the topics of education, inclusion, and advocacy that are rated by parents who have reviewed them together in family group meetings. These resources are not just links to other websites, but are downloadable/printable materials that are both usable and accessible. These “Consumer Reports” allow parents to save time and energy in researching the best and most appropriate resources for their son or daughter with a disability. Family Web also provides support in the form of videos and real life testimonials.
